Product Description

Lake Almanor is located where the Cascade Mountains meet the Sierras, where meadow breaks open to lake and canyon hold rainbows taking refuge from warming water. It’s a great lake that invites the flyrodder to cast poppers, Clousers, Hexagenia nymphs and fish midges fifteen feet deep. It’s a lake that all fly fishers need to bring their top game.

We just don’t guide Lake Almanor we live it. The lake is a great place for anglers looking for big fish or just sharpening their stillwater skills. The Hexagenia hatch is the big draw every year for anglers but other events on the lake bring fish into easy casting range. The Pond Smelt spawn and the Blood Midge parade is an outstanding time to fish the lake.

We utilize or Tracker, driftboat, float tubes and walk and stalk techniques to take these great fish. Lake Almanor is a must fish for anglers of all ages.

Stillwater trips are $535 per day maximum of two anglers.

Driftboat, float tubes, fins, rods, reels, flies, leaders, and indicators are all inclusive however, wading gear is not.
