Bird's Nest

The Bird’s Nest is one of the best all around purpose flies that can be in your fly box. The Bird’s Nest was developed by Cal Bird for a caddis imitation for the Truckee River. Our Bird’s Nest have been “tweaked” by the latest and greatest fly tiers like Zack Thurman, Milt Jensen, Tim Fox and Lance Gray. The LGC’s Bird’s Nests’ are simply perfect. We have Bird’s Nest for stillwater, jigged and swinging. These flies are tied on Firehole Hooks, Tungsten Beads’, custom dubbings, UV and natural wood duck flank fibers.
